Assignment 1: Create Your Own Blog

Ideas
1. Fly fishing company- hobby that I have grown up doing with my dad. Could use fishing images. "Stay Fly" (appeals to younger audiences).

2. Art Museum- specific to one artist (like the Dali); make the logo match the style of their art. Van Gogh?

3. Outdoor clothing- similar to Patagonia; inspiration from the mountains in NC. "Pioneer" or "Plunge" based off a camp I go to.

4. Cheerleading gym- new logo for my competitive high school gym, Stars Athletics. The logo goes on the front of the uniforms.

5. Greek apparel company- caters to sororities and fraternities to make custom shirts for events.

Introduction (Assignment #1)

My name is Madison and I am a junior at the University of Tampa studying art. I hope to become a elementary art teacher when I graduate. I love traveling, food, and my two kittens, Dali and Bella. Although I have a lot of experience with art, I have never tried digital art and I am very excited to learn about it. I think it will be a good opportunity to add variety to my portfolio. During my teaching internship, I have noticed huge technology advancements from when I was in school. Even the yearbooks are online. This class will be very helpful in learning more about technologies like that.
